Glenn from All Decked Out runs us through the finished deck at The Lane Vineyard in South Australia, using Designer Series decking in Leatherwood.
Boasting over 40 hectares of vineyards, a premium, boutique cellar, and a restaurant that “sits elevated in the heart of the vineyard“, The Lane Vineyard follows their philosophy of quality and character from start to finish.
At The Lane Vineyard, they take sustainability seriously. So, when it came time to re-do the outdoor decking, Ekodeck’s Designer Series composite decking was the perfect choice.
We spoke to Glenn, the founder and owner of All Decked Out, who were behind the renovation of the deck at The Lane restaurant.

How long have you been using Ekodeck?
We have been using Ekodeck for 3 years.
Is Ekodeck the only composite decking that you use?
Yes, we only use Ekodeck composites due to the decking’s appearance – the way it looks is far more superior than any other composite decking we have tried. The support we receive from Ekodeck directly is also second to none.
How did Ekodeck become the material of choice for this project?
The Lane wanted us to reuse existing timber decking they already had on site, but after a discussion on the continued maintenance that timber requires, when compared to Ekodeck – the Designer Series decking became an obvious choice for the both of us.
I saw on your Instagram that some of your guys have been patrons of The Vineyard – how was that experience?
We have ventured to The Lane and recommended it to many clients that have also really enjoyed the experience. The food, wine and service is truly fantastic. It is also a great showroom for Ekodeck prospective clients to visit and see first-hand how good the product is.
