Lane Cove, a picturesque suburb located on the Lower North Shore of Sydney, is known for its lush greenery, family-friendly atmosphere, and convenient amenities.
This charming area boasts a mix of residential housing, including modern apartments and traditional homes, offering a range of living options to suit diverse preferences.
At The Botanic Apartments, a new walkway was installed throughout the communal areas to refresh the space, and create a more streamlined experience for the residents.
The new walkway was designed and built by Monumental Building Group (MBG), using Ekodeck Designer Series composite decking, and a ClickDeck aluminium subframe.
Nathan from MBG recommended using Ekodeck composite decking for this project because of its upstanding warranties, brand representation and customer service.
Another plus about using that Ekodeck composite decking is that it is available Australia-wide at Bunnings Warehouse, making materials easily and quickly accessible.
Working with their partner, ClickDeck Modular aluminium subframes, the team at MBG designed a low-to-ground subframe system over the waterproof membrane, which allowed them to create the desired finish and design.
The long-lasting material of aluminium for the deck framing, used in conjunction with a quality decking board, the Ironwood from the Ekodeck Designer Series, leaves MGB’s clients with peace of mind that the project will be without issues or maintenance for decades to come.
